Visitors are encouraged to delve into the park's interpretive trail and various points of interest, using a provided mobile application designed for an enriched experience.</p>

    <li>Explore the events of the Battle of Ox Hill, also referred to as the Battle of Chantilly, which unfolded on September 1, 1862, amidst a severe thunderstorm.</li>
    <li>Examine the preservation efforts in the late 1980s and 1990s that, despite securing only 4.9 acres of the original 500+ acre battlefield, ignited a movement for modern battlefield preservation.</li>
</ul>

<p>The Ox Hill Battlefield Tour Guide effectively navigates users through the interpretive trail of Ox Hill Battlefield Park and adjacent areas of interest, incorporating audio tours and detailed battle maps. This application was developed by The American Battlefield Trust in collaboration with the Bull Run Civil War Round Table.
